PRACTICAL 2

PRACTICAL  NAME  :               Blogs on ICT given in the textbook pg-60
TOOLS/ SOFTWARE USED :    Internet connection, Internet Browser.
DESCRIPTION / THEORY    :    
To create a personal blog with the help of different tools available in www.blogger.com apply appropriate image as background, color scheme and take a print out of the blog.
PROCEDURE / STEPS          :    
1. We first confirmed the internet connection.

2. As per the instructions, we then opened any internet browser - say Google Chrome or Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox and followed the following steps to create blog :-
             i)  Open the website http://www.blogger.com in Internet Browser
             ii) Click the "CREATE A BLOG" Button.
             iii) On the follopwing page we'll be prompted to create a google account (f no google account yet 
             iv) Once button done with Account ,Click the "Create A Blog" button 
             v) Enter a Title for the blog here that we like.
             vi) Enter Address (URL) of the blog- title of the blog can also be used .
             vii) Type the word in the verification section and click "CONTINUE". Blog is ready .
           
              3.    Applying a template and background colour scheme following steps need to be following -
              i)  On the blogger Dashboard select Template - Customise - Advanced options - Select Template and select the template of your choice.
              ii)  After making changes , click on the Apply to Blog  Button.
             iii)Click on the Back to Blogger Link to return to the Blogger Dashboard.

  4.   After the blog is ready, we click on the NEW POST icon and follow the following steps :- 
              i) A window open up and we write the title of the post and type the article . 
              ii) We then click on save button . Click on Publish. 
              iii) After clicking Publish the post appears only with the title and click on it. The post opens up .

5.    The screenshot of the screen is taken and printed.

RESULT / OUTPUT :     the Blog is viewed as a soft copy and printed

PRACTICAL NO 1

PRACTICAL NAME : PowerPoint Presentation on  - IMPACT OF ICT ON EDUCATION given in the textbook pgno. 60

TOOLS / SOFTWARE USED :  Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 , internet

DESCRIPTION / THEORY  :   To create .ppt with the help of different tools available in it and show it in slide sorter view.

PROCEDURE/STEPS :
1 As per the instructions,we opened internet explorer,google and collected the images for the presentation.
2.Open PowerPoint ,created the first slide-Introduction of the Topic.
3.Second impact of ICT on curriculum 
4.Third slide impact of ICT on the Teaching 
5.Fourth slide Impact of ICT on the Learning process 
6.Fifth slide Students using Interactive Whiteboard in classroom
7.Sixth slide Impact of ICT on Assessment/Evaluation 
8.The ppt was given effects/background /themes.
9.Finally the ppt is viewed in the slide sorter view and was printed  

RESULT/OUTPUT :
The presentation is viewed as soft copy and slide sorter view was printed.

CONCLUSION :
Practical No. 1 PowerPoint Presentation on  IMPACT OF ICT ON EDUCATION  was completed as per given instructions , printout attached.

10)   verify the theorem using geogebra-the measure of an angle subtended an arc at a point o on the circle is half of the measure subtended by an same arc at the centre (refer page no.59,theorem 2.5 from mathematics-II std X).

11) verify the theorem using geogebra-if two circles are touching circles then the common point lies on the line joining the center(refer pg no.53 theorem 2.4 from mathematics-II std X)

12) the percentage of literate male between the ages 15 and 45 in a colony is given and table below.

7) using geogbra perform following:
i) draw a line segment of length 6.5 cm and draw perpendicular bisector yo line segment.
ii) draw an angle with measurement 133 and bisect it.
8)construct a regular polygon with 6 sides using 'polygon' tool in geogebra.

Early Beginnings
The history of ICT originates from, which include the abacus.  The abacus is thought to have been previously invented 3’000 years before the birth of Jesus Christ.  Revisions to its use/design continued for many years, there was even a version developed in Egypt.  Early versions of the calculator were gradually replacing this primitive method of math.  In 1624 the first ever four-function calculator-clock was built by Wilhelm Schickard, thus heralding a new era.
